The Carlyle Group, one of the biggest private equity funds in the world was the first to recognize TOPIA's remarkable achievement and strong growth potential. In April 2007 the global fund announced its proposal to invest 20 million US dollars in the company.
TOPIA Education boasts quality educational content proven by its outstanding performance in top magnet school entrance exams, which also serves as one of many reasons that attract students to TOPIA's elementary programs run by TOPIA.
Our elementary students study at TOPIA for 6 class’ periods per week, and our semesters run for 3 months. In the 12-week program, each level has specific tasks that the students are expected to accomplish in order to proceed to the next level. The junior-high division runs 8 classes per week, each semester for 6 months. All of our curricula, syllabi and tests for both divisions are developed and tested by our Research and Training Center consisting of more than 50 experienced and knowledgeable researchers. The teacher need not decide what to teach but rather focus time and energy on how to implement the given materials according to the dynamics established in the various classrooms.
